What To Expect

Your tour will begin at the 4,000-acre (1,619-hectare) Kualoa Ranch, situated on the northern coast of Oahu. Hop aboard a vintage bus with your guide to explore the expansive cattle ranch.

Hear commentary from your guide about the impressive list of films that have been shot throughout this landscape, such as 50 First Dates, Tears of the Sun and Pearl Harbor, and TV shows like Lost and Hawaii Five-O. See where a dinosaur chase took place in Jurassic Park and take a picture of Godzilla’s giant footprint.

Then, you’re off to Kaneohe Bay, Mokoli’i Island and the stunning mountains of Ko’olau Range, all of which were formed after the Ko’olau volcano erupted over 2.5 million years ago. The sparkling waters of Kaneohe Bay are also where Johnny Depp sailed aboard Queen Anne’s Revenge in Pirates of the Caribbean 4. Soak up the stunning views as you pass the iconic green backdrop of Ko’olau Range.

At the end of your tour, your guide will bring you back to your original departure point at the ranch.

I did the Hollywood tour. But it was about 75% agricultura and history. And although it’s interesting. If we specifically pic a category why not provide 100% of that category.

I’m a big movie buff so this tour was one thing I really wanted to do. Everyone I encountered at the Ranch was friendly and made me feel like I wasn’t really alone on the tour. Our guide Eli was fabulous!!! I really liked that it didn’t feel rushed. I would definitely recommend going on this tour and the next time I’m here I will do it again!!

Re: 1215533205 When I spoke to viator on the phone I thought they said they were able to update the reservation time. We left immediately and missed the message from Carli at Kualoa only to be surprised at the ticket desk when trying to check in. This is what viator sent: Hi Alexander Thanks for contacting us. I spoke to tour operator CARLI, that you are marked as a no show and they cannot be able to change the time to 2:40 pm. Regards, Jovelyn Viator Customer Service So unfortunately, since we already made the hour drive, we had to pay double to go on this tour. Is there any way one of the charges can be refunded? We had a great time and would love to look back on this experience positively and share that for others. Also, adding to our confusion was the fact that the ticket booth operator said there were several vacancies across future reservation times. To be honest, we came away feeling a little fleeced. I have faith this is a mixup and you are not in the business of trying to double charge customers. Thank you for your time in considering this and the other communications sent in this regard.

My husband and I have taken this tour in 2021…right after COVID. This time we were able to take our adult children, one of which was celebrating her 21st birthday. It was a memorable time and the info given was more informative than before. Highly recommend.

Viator sold us tickets for the Jurassic Park event, but the address to the location was incorrect. Needless to say, we missed the bus but the Kualoa Tour company allowed us to go on a different tour, the Ocean Island View which was absolutely breathtaking and amazing! All in all, it worked out and the Tour company definitely has something for everyone!

I had such a great time at the ranch! The guide was super nice and made the experience really enjoyable. Everything was well-organized, so we checked in quickly and got to where we needed to be without a hitch. The breathtaking views were amazing, and learning about the history of Pearl Harbor and the military's role there was fascinating. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a fun outing!

Tour through Kualoa valley seeing horses, cattle and farming areas. Very beautiful area, lush and green. Lots of history of ranch and its involvement in WW and the movie industry. Enjoyed all the information on films that had filming occur on the ranch.
