From the moment I booked the tour I received contact updates, location and pick up times via email and in the morning of departure phone calls from Thamara from Key West Express letting me know the bus was on schedule and picked up on time at 6.45am. Thamara greeted us with a huge smile and was so happy to meet everyone. She remembered people's names and was brilliant in her commentary along the journey to Key West spoke several languages and invested in ensuring everyone's tour needs were met. She is a wonder and the driver looked after our safety.

Key West is worth seeing!

The bus came around 7 o'clock at our pickup location in Miami beach 8th.; around 7:30 it had collected the rest of the travelles and we have started our ride to Key West; it took us 3 and 1/2 hours drive in a confortable bus. A half an hour break was made around 8:45 (the only coffee mcdonald's had was americano, but we could see the news on a huge TV). We have arrived around 11:30 in Key West and within a 6 hours walking tour we count visit not only Harry Truman Little White House, Hemmingways residence and the Lighthouse, but also see the southernmost point, the 0-Mile Point, the Tropic Cinema, enjoy lunch at Conch Republic and have a lot of box-stops on Duval Street.

Long bus ride, hard to understand guide , time on key west was adequate, unfortunate weather conditions.

If only one day to visit key west, this is the way to go!

Been wanting to take this tour for a long time. I think it is absolutely worth it. There are other options to get to key west but this was the most convenient and relaxing for my family. We traveled with small children and they did well on the long bus ride. We had 6 hours to explore key west and got see and do the things on our list, would recommend if you only have a day to visit.

The communication could have been better for pick up time . I booked a 730am pick up . Got an email saying pick up time moved to 0600am. We arrived at 550am and was waiting. Customer service doesn't open until 7am. Luckily we stayed in the area. Customer service confirmed that pick up in biscayne area is 715am. Bus was late on arrival . It was another group that was there but was in the bathroom. The tour guide was FIRM that the bus must go . Eventually everyone from that group ran out and caught the bus before it completly pulled off. NO courtesy was given. Tour guide made it very clear that the toilet on the bus can only be user for #1 . It's a 4 hour drive, so if you have a sensitive stomach this may not be efficient. Overall , once we arrived my group had a blast on the island and would most likely revisit key west . It's a lot to do there with the 5 hours we were given so you won't be bored.

Overall our day was great, Lilly the guide was friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Key West. Bus was comfortable and the town is beautiful. Two things worth noting are that the drive is LONG and everything has lineups in key west. Be prepared to spend most of your day sitting in a bus or standing in a line. Would definitely recommend the Gray Line Tour provider and booking through Viator.

The seven hours on the bus going and coming back is grueling and six hours in Key West is really not enough time. The bus itself is only mediocre and the onboard bathroom had no light or toilet paper. Be prepared. The guide and driver were fine but the bus needs new brakes and shock absorbers. Water should be provided on board.

While this is a long day it’s well worth the effort to reach the southern most part of USA. Pick up was seamless. Guide worked with everyone during transit to ensure they had the options they wanted. Bus was comfortable for the long drive. The option add ons were well organised.

I was very disappointed with the drive back to Miami. Driver was driving to fast and reckless. Asked him to slow down and he did not. He put to many lives in danger. I was nervous . The drive to Key West was normal.

Magical snorkeling debut !

It was a fantastic day! It worth the trip, yes I have to admit it’s quite long, but the bus was very confortable. No wifi but you can use the time to sleep. At Key west I booked the Snorkeling tour and is was totally amazing !!! My first time and it was an incredible experience. The instructor made all the difference. She gave us the perfect preparation and suggestions we needed to really enjoy this. Absolutely magical. Thanks to the crew and Cindy the driver. Recommend this 100%.

The travel was good and the trolley ride was good except that we had a flat tire on our way home and it took 3 hours for somebody to rescue us and the driver was getting crabby.

Left alone in broken bus on the hwy

Our tour bus broke down on the highway on the return trip to Miami. It was experiencing problems for an hour or more. We were told a new bus was coming to meet us but we would continue to drive towards Miami for as long as we could. About 15 minutes later the bus completely died on the side of a busy highway at 10pm. The new bus showed up within 15 minutes but was not big enough for everyone. We (2 adults, 2 children) were left in the broke down bus in complete darkness with the non English speaking driver of the rescue bus. About 30 minutes later a small SUV arrived to take us to Miami. The SUV driver also did not speak English and seem not to understand where our hotel was (Hilton Downtown Miami). Shortly after midnight we were delivered to our hotel. We left Key West at 5:30pm.

Unforgettable Key West Tour

Was too hyped for this tour and went too early to the Meeting Point, Bayside Market place. :D A long drive to KW Island, but all worth it. Thanks to the Key West Express tour guide and the driver for taking us safe to and from. Did the Old Town Trolley tour, got to see beautifully parts of the Conch Republic. The lady driver/tour guide was super. Would definitely go back with the fam.

Perfect Way To Add Another Destination To Your Miami vacation

Reliable, timely pick-up and drop-off at each participants hotel. Nice coach bus, comfortable, it's about 3 hours or so from Miami to Key West but lots of great views along the way. The Florida Keys definitely have a different vibe than Miami. The Glass Bottom Boat tour was great. I took it more for the boat ride into the ocean vs. seeing the coral reefs. Plenty of time to walk around and experience Key West on your own too. While you are there, check out "Sunset Pier"-- great views (even if not at sunset). Definitely recommend this Key West Day trip (through Greyline Tours through Viator) if you are in Miami and want to add another destination to your vacation. Side note-- Key West itself seems lack a lot of street signs. Using a paper map (guides provided) and using Google Maps on your phone is helpful to navigate as you walk around the island and to find your back to the bus drop off/pick up point.
