Brakes failing !!!!! Dangerous and more!!!

Dangerous!! Brakes failing and more bad things !! !! Can’t give below 1 star but deserves much much much worse!! First, the driver drove under low tree canopy so that without warning we were hit in the face/ head with tree branches ! Tour guide yelled ‘duck!’ but too late in part for those of us near the front. But trip got worse!!! Suddenly 1/2 way into the trip we heard a very loud scraping sound. We thought we hit a barricade or driver wrecked our bus but then realized when it continued at each intersection it was the brakes failing!!!! The driver then went very slowly and stopped far from each intersection pumping bakes with horrible sounding happening each time. It was then we realized the problem and thought we were continuing simply trying to get to a place to get off a busy street but instead the driver then went onto the busy highway !!! We were shocked(!!) they were continuing with the tour and onto the highway we went!!! We were going at snails pace on highway and up and down big road slopes ( hills) ! Cars honking at us as they zoomed by on the highway and there we sat in the top of a double decker bus.. no roof cover & no seat belts on a highway in a bus with brakes failing !!! I asked the guide if we were getting help he said no, they notified the bus company who could not help , that they’d had problems with buses before and company couldn’t help them either before. He also said they didn’t want to get back 2 hours late. !! He said people would be upset. I said at least we’d be alive! This was terrible. Not only was this extraordinarily dangerous but of course we listened to none of the tour after that ( too scared) and we went so slow we didn’t see much of what we should have! To make matters worse the music and microphone was so loud we had to sit with our ears covered and we left with a headache from the sound alone. … terrible! Should have known this was a terrible tour at outset when our guide at first spoke part of the tour using both Spanish and English (wasn’t told it was a dual language tour!) but he spoke by only said a few words of each language (1/2 sentence English then 1/2 sentence Spanish..) making it hard to grasp entire sentences in either language. Finally he realized it was better to say a full sentence or few full sentences in English then repeat in Spanish! Made it better but his having to repeat everything twice made us all get 1/2 information we should have received and at times by the time he finished the 2nd language translation we were already past the site he was talking about ! This was a dangerous terrible tour at outset! Do not take this tour!!! To company and Viator!!! You need to call us!!!!

Did the 10:30 am tour today. Great experience with knowledgeable guide and driver. Seats were comfortable and great variation of the tour with Hollywood star homes, watches and speed and more speed. Absolutely worth every minute!

Excellent view of Miami at night

The guide made this ride even more fun. Full of life we spent 90 mins visiting the main night spots. We had already done the bus by day but you also need to see by night as the bars and clubs are illuminated. Our 16 year old daughter also thought is was great and as we drove along to the music of Miami, we all loved it and felt the party vibe. This is a must do whilst in Miami.

Wet & windy

Thankfully we received rain ponchos but we still didn’t last too long up top in the constant driving downpour - had our heads down and eyes closed to keep the rain out, not great for sightseeing, but not the tour fault. Would still go on it if weather was better. Tour guide & bus driver did their best to keep our small group entertained. You do have to duck for low trees- fact!

Armando on the night tour was a knowledgeable incredible guide. The tour was a lot of fun and saw the whole city lit up. Highly recommend, just make sure you duck to avoid the trees if you are on top of the bus.
