Inca ruins , market
Your guide was great, sites were great! With this one be careful to find out what’s included prior because even though it was stated that entrance fees were included we had to pay again at the sites .

The Sacred Valley is...
The Sacred Valley is quite beautiful. The lunch stop was excellent. The place was very clean, the buffet was plentiful and the grounds were very pretty.

Great tour with ruins and shopping
This was a fun tour through the Sacred Valley. First stop is Pisac where you meet with local jewelers and have time to wander through the market. Then we had lunch in a fabulous location along the river with a great buffet of food. Then we went to Ollantaytambo. I knew we would be seeing the ruins there. I was not prepared for hiking them (but that's my fault for not knowing more about the ruins). It was not a difficult hike; I just wasn't prepared with the best shoes and no hair tie (I have long hair and it was very windy so my hair was in my face the whole time). Our guide was fantastic. He had a lot of knowledge about the area and was very easy to talk to. He made a point to have individual conversations with each party in the group. He helped some of the group shop in the markets. And he was very accommodating of a guest who was not feeling well. My only suggestion would be to reverse the trip and go to Ollantaytambo first as hiking the ruins on a very full stomach was not ideal. This is definitely a fun tour if you want to see and learn about some of the ruins and ancient culture but also want to spend time in the markets as there were markets in both Pisac and Ollantaytambo.

Very memorable. Henry was so knowledgeable
Olllataytambo was magnificent, the sun temple was the biggest highlight. Also very much enjoyed the alpaca/yarn tour and shopping in Pisac. However our opinion is that lunch should not be last on the schedule—we didn’t get to lunch until 3. Perhaps eat before entering the ruins.
